Weems & Plath® Skipjack Desktop Clock and Barometer $243 The unique Weems & Plath® Skipjack combination desktop clock and barometer is two precision instruments in one.  Housed in one traditional forged solid brass case, this combination clock and barometer swivels 360 degrees both horizontally and vertically in a brass, perfectly balanced and integrated gimbal set so one side is a clock and the other side is the barometer. The gimbal also allows for comfortable viewing from any angle.  The highly accurate German quartz clock operates on a single E90 size N alkaline battery (included).  The precision German-made aneroid barometer is calibrated for altitudes up to 3500 feet (1067 meters) above sea level.  The brass is highly polished and clear coated for a non-tarnish finish that never needs polishing.  Because of the unique arrangement of a clock on one side of the housing and a barometer on the other, this instrument makes an excellent presentation no matter on which side of the desk you are sitting.  Sorry, the Skipjack clock and barometer cannot be custom engraved. The Weems & Plath® Skipjack desktop clock and barometer is 5 3/8 inches (13.7 cm) tall, 5 1/8 inches (13.0 cm) wide, and the base is 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm) in diameter.  The clock and barometer are 3 inches (7.6 cm) in diameter and the clock/barometer weighs a very solid 2 pounds, 10 ounces (1.2 kg).
