Full Description:
The Weems & Plath Atlantis Ship's Barometer is made of solid, clear-coated brass and features an accurate German aneroid movement that is visible through the open dial.  The barometer is temperature compensated and is calibrated for altitudes to 3,500 feet above sea level and can easily be set to your local atmospheric pressure by means of a small screw.  The barometer reads in both inch and millibar scales.  The instrument never needs to be polished and will not tarnish.  This classic brass barometer looks stunning mounted on a bulkhead or wall with any of the companion Atlantis clocks.  The Weems & Plath Anniversary Barometer comes complete with detailed instructions, mounting hardware, and a limited lifetime warranty.  The ship's barometer has a 3 7/8 inch (9.7 cm) diameter face, and the brass case measures 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) in diameter, 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm) deep, and weighs 3 1/2 pounds (1.59 kg).

With the optional solid mahogany base you can display your Weems & Plath Atlantis Barometer on your mantle, shelf, or desk. The mahogany base has felt to keep the barometer in place and to protect it from scratches.  The bottom of the base is lined with thick felt to protect your furniture.  The single mahogany base is 9 1/2 inches (24.1 cm) wide, 7 3/8 inches (19.7 cm) tall, 4 inches (10.2 cm) deep, and weighs 1 pound, 12 ounces (794 grams).  Note that only the Weems & Plath Atlantis products will fit on this mahogany base.
